YOUR TASKS

As a (senior) TYPO3 backend developer, you will work on digital platforms for public sector clients that serve as central points of contact for broad sections of the population and whose functionality has a direct impact on the daily lives of many people. Our TYPO3 solutions are clearly geared towards the enterprise environment: extensive multisite setups, high content volumes, numerous editors, high traffic requirements, strict security specifications and the connection of customer-specific systems are part of our standard scenarios.
  • You will assume technical responsibility for complex TYPO3 instances
  • You will actively contribute your ideas and help shape technical decisions
  • You will develop new features, interfaces (REST, SOAP, JSON) and technical solutions
  • You will optimise processes, databases (MySQL/MariaDB) and existing systems, including middleware, cron jobs and data imports and exports
  • You will ensure the performance, scalability and sustainability of our platforms
  • You ensure code quality through linting, testing, automated workflows and modern development processes (CI/CD, containerisation, QA structures)
  • You plan, test and take responsibility for rollouts, upgrades and system stability
  • You work closely with DevOps, front-end, design and customer teams
  • You implement stable and future-oriented solutions

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have several years of practical experience in object-oriented PHP development and in the implementation and further development of TYPO3 solutions, including extensions, backend modules and plugins.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of TYPO3 and are willing and eager to actively expand your expertise and pass it on in an agency environment.
  • You are interested in continuously optimising development processes and workflows and structuring them sustainably through clear standards.
  • You are enthusiastic about current technologies, contemporary software architectures, modern interfaces and conceptual work.
  • You are confident in using common development and deployment tools such as DDEV, Docker, PhpStorm, GitLab CI, and project management tools such as ClickUp or Jira
  • You have very good written and spoken German skills (at least C1 level)
  • You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills, yet you are also able to work independently and in a structured manner
